Ethereal Wedding in Asheville

Mandy and Drew’s beautiful June Wedding was an enchanting experience! As an Asheville, NC Wedding Photographer I often get the opportunity to capture stunning weddings around this beautiful landscape, but Mandy and Drew’s Ethereal Wedding might be my favorite so far. Their two location wedding and first look in the mountains of Asheville, NC were both breathtaking and tear jerking.

After their stunning Biltmore Estate Engagement Session, which you can view HERE, Mandy had an amazing idea. She wanted to have their first look in the lovely floral fields of The Never Ending Flower Farm near Asheville. She couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful location. With the breathtaking backdrop of the smoky mountains, and the colorful flower fields all around, Mandy and Drew shared a very romantic first look. We also had some extra time to capture sweet photos of them with their pet bearded dragon, Pancake!

Drew could not contain his excitement and tears while bestowing his gaze on his soon to be Bride. Their vows were incredibly sweet and SO heartfelt and tender amongst the budding flowers around them. It was truly ethereal capturing such a touching memory in such a unique way. Mandy was the most stunning bride – she looked like she stepped out of the pages of a fairytale. Her dress was not only gorgeous but fit perfectly with the flower field backdrop as it had its own flower detail stitched along the dress. Her bridesmaids wore darker green dresses that featured a sheer outer layer with green vine stitching that complemented Mandy’s floral details.

The Wedding Ceremony + Reception

Their wedding day at Green Brier Farms was warm, but filled with joyful spirits and lots of fun! The outdoor ceremony overlooked the lake by the vineyard providing guests with a lovely view. Mandy walked down the aisle to one of the sweetest songs that I know well, “Concerning Hobbits”, from The Lord of The Rings Trilogy. Afterwards, the newlyweds scampered off into a private spot and had a little happy dance party before signing the marriage license with their officiant. This wedding day exuded SO much genuine joy!

Two things I adored about this day were the love and endearment so many of the friends and family shared with the bride and groom. It was heartwarming to witness how everyone pitched in at every moment of need. Something else that was a delight to experience was the charming english dancing lesson that was hosted at the reception! This was just one of the many highlights from their day. Their reception was beyond fun and the energy was high all night. The dance floor never got a break as everyone danced and laughed together – especially when the silly glasses and blow up instruments made their appearance. It was an enchanting, memorable evening filled with endless laughs, touching moments, and an overflow of love.
