Surprise Proposal in Pullen Park

Gabby and Connor got engaged at Pullen Park in Raleigh, NC during the first week of October. Their proposal was so incredibly sweet and well planned out. From the sentimental pictures of different milestones of their relationship, to the intricately detailed ring with Gabby’s birthstone engraved in the band, Conner, with the help of family, made this an evening to remember.

These two have been dating for almost two years now. After meeting at Bob Jones University, they hit it off almost immediately. Connor sent Gabby a DM through Instagram in a leap of faith after seeing her in a play one night. After he asked her out, Gabby was skeptical, but gave him a chance! Connor was so patient with her and was just as surprised as she was when she said yes to going on a date! After growing in grace and love with one another over these lovely two years, the time had finally come for Connor to get down on one knee. Surprised and emotional, Gabby gleefully said “YES!!”

Seeing the joyful emotion of the couple as they celebrated this new milestone in their relationship was priceless and incredibly heartwarming. After the surprise proposal and a celebratory toast with some sparkling grape juice, I captured a few photos of the newly engaged couple around Pullen Park. They were BEAMING! The park was a dreamy setting with the water in the background, lush greenery, and the gorgeous lighting from the sun. It was a definitely an evening to remember!
