Tender In-Home Newborn Session

New parents, Hailey and Noah, are two friends I have had since middle school. Our friendship and knowing their enduring love story made capturing this tender in-home newborn session of their newborn boy, Jack, even more special!

I first met Hailey on the school bus in 7th grade when she moved from Washington State to Texas. We lived two blocks from one another growing up and remained best friends through the years. Noah and Hailey’s love story is one of resilience. Once Hailey and Noah got married, they moved to Japan where Noah was stationed with the U.S. Military.

After almost three years of living in the most beautiful country, they became pregnant with sweet Jack in 2024. Hailey moved back to Houston for better prenatal care, as well as to find a new home for their family. Thankfully, Noah was able to get stationed back in Texas right before Jack’s arrival and I got the dearest honor of capturing these cherished images just days after his birth!

I loved the soft pastel tones of Jack’s nursery. The small baby animal touches, wooden toys, and welcome sign all created a nursery filled with love for their sweet boy. Their sweet, fluffy furbaby, Luna, was by Jack’s side the entire time. She is the best big sister! That is the beauty of in-home lifestyle sessions! Not only can you capture your new family in the comfort of your own home, but you can document the nursery that you spent time making perfect for you little, as well as include the entire family, whether that’s older siblings or family dogs like Luna. Capturing these photos in their cozy home, made all of us feel like this was meant to be – a beautiful full circle moment! These are the memories we dreamed about in grade school. It was such an honor to capture these moments for such dear friends!
