Haley and Austin share a sweet and authentic relationship. They have the kind of love that feels effortless and real and it was such a joy to capture them together during their spring Biltmore Estate engagement session in Asheville, NC. Their story began with a blind date, set up by Haley’s close friend, who clearly knew what they were doing. Sparks flew right away, and after a year of dating and making memories together, Austin proposed during a romantic picnic.
Spring Biltmore Estate Engagement
When we started planning their engagement session, Haley mentioned how much she adores Jane Austen, and as a fellow fan of both Jane and timeless romance, I was immediately inspired. She and Austin wanted an engagement location full of gardens, lush greenery, and natural beauty, and there was no question that the Biltmore Estate was the perfect setting. With its expansive grounds, blooming gardens, and breathtaking mountain views, it checked all the boxes. I would use any excuse to visit those stunning and ornate grounds in the spring!
We began their session by sauntering around the lush greenhouse, as they stole glances and admired the fresh spring flowers that were in full bloom. From there, we weaved through the vast pathways near the grand entrance of the estate, taking our time and capturing the sweet in-between moments of them stealing kisses as they enjoyed the light breeze, all while watching the sunset over the rolling mountains and hills of Asheville, NC. Every image we captured felt like a scene straight out of a romance movie.
Haley and Austin will be tying the knot this November at Piney Grove Ranch in Woodruff, South Carolina. Their wedding will have all the cozy, romantic vibes of fall and I absolutely can’t wait to capture the next chapter of their love story and share much more of their journey to marriage through imagery.
