Isabella’s Falls Park senior session in Greenville, SC was one of those moments that felt deeply full-circle for me. She is a bright, thoughtful, and inspiring young woman from the Class of 2026, stepping into an exciting season of life with confidence and intention. After graduating high school, Isabella is taking a year to thoughtfully consider her next steps before deciding whether to attend college.
What makes Isabella’s story even more special is that she has already begun her own journey into portrait photography and has started her own business! Encouraging her in her creative endeavors has been such a joy, because I see so much of my younger self in her. I, too, fell in love with portrait photography while still in high school, and it was during college that I finally pulled the trigger and started full steam ahead in my business. Watching Isabella dream, create, and take those first brave steps made me so happy and was incredibly inspiring.
Isabella has a deep love for the Lord and everything she does is rooted in her faith. I love when I get to work with clients who see the beauty of what I do, not just through the lens of pretty pictures, but in that Christ is the heart behind it all.
Falls Park Senior Session
We enjoyed one of the last mild autumn days exploring Falls Park on the reedy, which is one of the most iconic locations for senior photos in Greenville, South Carolina. With golden light filtering through the trees and the Reedy River flowing nearby, the setting was the perfect backdrop for capturing Isabella’s senior session.
One of my favorite parts of senior sessions is encouraging parents and loved ones to be present. In my SCP Senior Style Guide, I emphasize how important it is to include family or close friends in your shoot, as they are just as much a part of this big milestone as you are. I often have parents telling me how grateful they are that I insist on their involvement in their child’s graduation photos. I see it as saying “thank you” to their parents for everything – for all the years of support, prayer, and sacrifice. Seeing families experience this moment together, as Isabella’s family did, is always incredibly special.
