Houston Texas Senior Portraits

Alan’s senior session was one of the most creatively fun and memorable experiences I’ve ever had behind the camera! His Houston, Texas graduation photos perfectly reflected not only his Texan roots, but also Alan himself, showcasing who he is, his personality, accomplishments and his heart.

Alan graduated from Bridgeland High School in Cypress, Texas with so much to be proud of, including a scholarship for track from the University of Texas (UT)! To celebrate this, we started the session around The Bridgelands, photographing some classic senior portraits and a few timeless shots in his graduation regalia. Alan has such a natural, confident presence in front of the camera, which made this part of the session effortless.

From there, we headed to his high school track to capture a few action shots of him running, stretching, and doing what he does best. Those moments felt especially meaningful, representing the dedication and hard work that earned him his scholarship, and the sport he loves. When it comes to senior photography, I always encourage seniors to include items or locations of meaning, whether it is a musical instrument, or a sport like Alan, these photos should represent you!

Then, just when I thought it couldn’t get better, it did! Alan’s sweet mom surprised us by arranging access to a local Texas farmland for the final part of his senior session. It was the perfect setting, complete with wide open skies, rustic fences, and even a longhorn! Pair that with Alan’s truck, and we had the ultimate Houston Texas senior session backdrop. If these photos don’t scream “Texas”, I don’t know what does!
