I love photographing expectant parents for maternity sessions. Welcoming a little one into the world is such an exciting time in life and should be celebrated and documented! I had the absolute joy of photographing Arielle and Parker’s charming Downtown Greenville Christmas maternity session. I loved the soft and beautiful light during their session at Falls Park on The Reedy with the last whispers of autumn in the trees! We even got pictures by the Christmas tree at the Westin Poinsett Hotel in Downtown. Their session featured two seasons in one session! How rare and beautiful.
These two and their family have such a beautiful testimony! They started attending our church a little over a year ago and both accepted the Lord into their hearts before joining! Not long after, Parker’s family all moved to the area and ALL confessed Christ as Lord of their lives this year!! On top of that, God blessed them with their first baby girl, who will be here in January! I know they are going to be the most amazing parents. This sweet baby girl will be loved SO much and will be surrounded by God fearing parents, grandparents, and uncle!
Downtown Greenville Maternity Session
These two followed my SCP Family Style Guide to a T! Both wore pastels and soft colors that reflect the tenderness of becoming parents for the first time. I brought a bonus item along with me as well – a fur shawl for Arielle to drape over her shoulders. 🙌 It added some lovely fluffy texture to each image, making them look extra luxurious! I still cannot get over the fact that we were able to snag all of these lovely pictures on the crowded streets of Downtown Greenville, SC. God was so gracious to us with the weather too! It was not terribly cold, nor was the sun blazing! The pillowy clouds in the sky created the perfect overcast glow in every image.
