Josh and Abby are some absolutely delightful friends we have cultivated a very sweet friendship with here in Greenville, SC. Seeing their family grow has been a heartwarming experience. They have the sweetest little boy, Reid, who is now a very proud big brother to his new sister, Remington. I was delighted to capture these precious moments of this new family of four during their in-home lifestyle newborn session.
The day of the session, Josh and Abby greeted me with the warmest welcome into their beautiful home. A sense of peace and tenderness filled their home that perfectly mirrored the love and care this family harbors for one another. Sweet Reid was absolutely thrilled to be a big brother! He did such a great job posing for images happily and with so much joy!
In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Session
Throughout the session, I moved around their beautiful home, capturing precious memories in the spaces that hold their daily lives. From the cozy nursery to the sunlit living room, each corner of their home added a unique touch to the photographs. In these familiar settings, their family bond shone through each image.
One of my favorite aspects of newborn sessions is capturing those delicate details—the tiny toes, the soft, downy hair, and the beaming eyes of a newborn. Remi, in particular, was a joy to photograph. It’s rare for a newborn to be awake and alert for an entire session. Remi, however, was quietly wide awake for the entire hour we spent together. She was the most well behaved and gentle sweet girl!
