Romantic Biltmore Estate Engagement Session

As soon as Mandy and Drew sat down for their consultation with me, it was astounding the absolutely beautiful vision these two had for their wedding and engagement season. It was like every-time they shared an idea with me about portraits or potential locations the first word out of my mouth was a resounding YES! As a destination wedding photographer, when couples trust me to capture their vision for their wedding and engagement session alike, I am THRILLED to bits to follow them wherever they lead me! Needless to say, their romantic Biltmore Estate engagement session was perfect in every way possible.

The Biltmore is a DREAM location I have wanted to shoot at for years. That dream finally came true with Mandy and Drew. I cannot express the depths of my adoration I have for a couple like this that just exudes joy. They matched my enthusiasm the entire evening and were down for every single portrait no matter the pose. The grounds themselves were so grand and spacious, it was almost overwhelming the sheer amount of beautiful backdrops around Biltmore that we made sure to take full advantage of.

Mandy and Drew met while dancing. Drew proposed to her while dancing as well, so we made sure to have lots of opportunities to show off those moves during their session. Mandy insisted that we get images of them under the blooming wisteria which is her favorite flower. There were countless romantic images that we procured during this beautiful journey of an evening. My husband David and Mindy, Mandy’s best friend, came along to help assist.

We finished the session with the iconic Biltmore Estate mansion as our backdrop. We got all the dreamy romantic images that looked straight out of a Jane Austen Novel. I am pretty certain we were all floating on air the entire evening. It felt like we could trust each other 110%, and there is no better feeling! This couple is exactly why I do what I do. I live to serve joy-filled and in-LOVE couples who just exude admiration for one another, and are a breath of fresh air to everyone they meet and that is exactly how I would describe, Mandy and Drew! I look forward to photographing more sessions at Biltmore Estate in the future. My hope is that it becomes a staple of the SCP experience. I want you to know that when I say I am down for anything epic like this, I mean it with all my heart.
